    When I was younger, me and a buddy pulled the bed off my Ranger so I could replace the fuel pump (it's easier to pull the bed off--or at least move it back--than to drop the tank), and I think I lifted one side the bed of my 87 Hilux and held it by myself while the wife positioned the lift blocks for the body lift I put on it (I know...but it had to be done for the Chevy 350 conversion I was working on). Haha, also on that truck, I bench pressed a TH350 transmission and held it up there to the engine while a buddy put the bolts in (laid down on the creeper, put the transmission on my chest, rolled under the truck with it and heaved it up there). Any more though, I'm a fan of "many hands make light work". :D

    Haha I've done the same thing with lifting the bed of my old truck, but I was removing a body lift, and I've benched a handful of transfer cases into place. I'm scrawny, not quite built for that stuff but I managed haha.

    With that being said, I might have to invest in a transmission jack being that my transfer case is getting pulled soon :facepalm:

    Never doing a crawl box again. The last one I had was a nightmare lol. Just doing the twin stick conversion and checking bearings and replacing seals.

    Breaking inputs and stuff? I kinda like the idea to really get a low crawl ratio while keeping the truck highway capable, but, yeah, I'm a little heavy with the throttle and snapping input shafts and stuff scares me. :eek:

    Haha, Todd seems a little like me in that way. I kinda like to do things myself if possible so I can move at my own pace and keep things organized, if only in my head. Of course, I'm not afraid to call in back-up when I need to. :D

    The first breakage: stripped and cracked output shaft on the crawl box which stripped the input on the stock chain case.

    The second breakage: sheared all the teeth off of the low range gear in the crawl box.

    After the second time is when I pulled the crawl box out and ditched it. And on top of all that, it ALWAYS leaked... from all the unused holes in the adapters and from the seal that went into the transmission tail-housing.

    Granted, this was behind a 4.7 V8 in a fairly heavy 2002 tundra, and I had a heavier foot back then.

    38.5" thornbirds for a little bit but most of its life it was on 38" and 37" toyo m/t's. Both times it broke were on toyos.

    It seems like I heard somewhere that Inchworms had a questionable rep.

    I dunno. That's way down the road for me if I ever get one. It'll be about the same time as I do an SAS. :D
