The d rings bolts are not covered by the mat so that won't work. I just swiveled my d rings so they rest on top of the mat at the corners.

If a theif wants it that bad they'll either cut it to or just yank it out since any drilled holes will compromise the integrity of the rubber where the holes are.

My truck is outside 24x7. I just keep the tailgate locked. I do have a tonnaeu since Friday, but never had issues since October.

Do you mean the two rings at the back for strapping stuff down? Cause those two are already cut out:(. But maybe i could add two to the front then i would have extras and bolt the mat down. That would be nice.

Man! I'm glad I don't live somewhere that I have to worry about this type of stuff anymore. I'm just moved from Cali... In California it would have been something I had to worry about.

Here, if someone tries to steal my bed mat... The only worry I have is that someone else might see it and beat the shit out of the guy doing it.

You'll be good. Most likely a theif is looking for property in the bed like tools. A bed mat is low on the list. It'll be dirty and bulky....to much trouble unless it's another taco owner lol.

Thanks man, guess I need another phone lol

Does it use whatever GPS app you have on an android phone or a certain entune specific Android GPS app?

I'd read the book... But I haven't learn to read yet :D
Hopefully things work out for ya bud!

Keep an eye on yourself though. I felt fine after the accident. 2 days later is when I felt it.

Speaking of bed mats.... I just got one in for a long bed but now I have the shorty bed... I guess it will go on the floor in my wood shop for now. Too heavy and big to want to sell\ ship.

I think the seat covers and mud flaps should still work. I hope the seat covers do. Haven't got them from cover king yet but they are almost finished being made according to order tracking. Wife bought them for my birthday. I hope they still fit... Seats feel the same to me.

I have to tint this one too. Switch out the interior lights again. Redo the custom grille, and reorder my 3% decal.

There are some down sides to my situation I guess.... But these wheels and tires make up for them lol

Now I'm just rambling on because the wife and kids are sleeping and I'm too excited to lay down Haha

Good question, i think entune just uses the GPS and data on your phone and uses their own interface. Not 100% sure tho.

    Congrats on the new truck!

I have an iPhone. Does anyone know if there's a way that I don't have to activate entune every time I get into my truck? It always asks me if I want to use "entune" when I jump on the rig....

Add another vote for not bolting down the mat. I'll tell you why. Imagine one day you need to haul a bunch of yard waste to the dump, all you have to do is just grab the mat and slide it out with all the contents on top. Easy as pie. If you bolt it down you'll have grab or scoop all the crap out.

I bolted mine down in the old truck with a second set of factory d rings to keep it from walking away, not to keep it from flying away. I also used those d rings many times to secure a load without issue. If you ask me, cutting it or ripping it out is highly unlikely as it's one heavy and thick mother but if one was determined enough, had the time and took the risk I guess it could be done. I also don't see how it would compromise the bed whatsoever unless you were to drill the holes too close to a corner then overloaded it. I believe I went 4" from each corner. After 5+ years of use I took it out for the new truck and it looks very sound, almost new, besides being dirty and imprinted where the d rings lived.

I haven't found one yet. I'm in the same boat as you. It's a PITA but I also like it because it won't just hog my data without my knowledge then.

Can you guys share where you purchased your mats? I thought I read a thread somewhere about a newer style Tacoma emblem on one of them, I want to make sure that I buy the most up to date model. Thanks!

Yes the H11 bulb fit my TRD Sport model 100% plug and play. I swapped in the extra Yellow and 4000K low beams in 5 minutes.
You have plenty of room in the bumper and engine bay to get at all 3 light locations.

I can still check weather and a few other things without activating the entune app. Wonder where that info is coming from.

Yes definetly watch out for teenage girl drivers ! There was a girl who hit my truck when I was parked at a grocery store. She was uninsured, had no DL, and the car she was driving wasn't even hers !! Good thing I was sitting in my truck when she hit it or else it would of been a hit and run ! Damage wasn't too bad but still cost 2k to fix it .
