Just making sure! I met a guy who had straps and a winch but no shackles. Thought it was going to be quick and easy to help him get out of a ditch. No so much with no shackles!

I'd say use a multi meter set on continuity to check that the bracket is actually grounded to the chassis. The antenna mount should have a diagram on the package for the order of assembly. Like @Digiratus said make sure the nylon isolator is in the correct position. Get rid of the extra ground when you know it's grounded properly.

Washed mine yesterday between rains. Then let the rain help wash the soap off. Truck was filthy from these stupid Washington roads. Honestly, how does a truck get so dirty in 3 months? They don't even salt the fucking roads here.

Future ideas in breweries to meet at:

Big E's in Mountlake Terrace (208th and 52nd approximately) I was there 2 days ago when I was in town. Try the blackberry.
For the Whidbey guys, in Mount Vernon is a little place that I think is called riverside brewing. Don't remember for sure though, but I could drive to it
Pies & Pints in Seattle, a little north of U district if I remember right
Tin Hat - Ballard. Taco Tuesday, order a shit ton of tacos early because service is slow, parking is a bitch, and the place is usually packed
