The custom taillights look like they might be the same, but they definitely changed out the tailgate.

Edit - Actually, I take it back. There's no way it's the same truck. Front bumper is gone, roll ball looks different, taillights are different, different tailgate, custom promo license plates are different, rear bumper different, etc. To many silly changes for it to be one of the three promo trucks.

I asked this dealership about getting me a TRD OR 4x4...

Salesman: We have an awesome one that you'll love. It's the T Force package, way better than the TRD stuff.
Me: I want the plain old TRD Off Road...I like the locker and don't like the T Force cosmetic stuff.
Salesman: We can put the Off Road stickers on it for you.
    Me: *click*

Depends largely on what you pay, right? My Texas Edition is a Gulf States Region standard. I also think I got a decent deal on it.

And for the record, I'm not hating on the Texas Editions. I actually like the badge...being a native Texan...but would rather have the TRD OR goodies.

One can never have too many light bars.
is this one of the ones Toyota made or is it just a dealer add on? I don't see any shock reservoirs from the upgraded bilsteins nor do I see the TRD wheels that were on the ones that toyota of north america made.

Nope. The TForce package is a Gulf States Toyota step child. They apparently spend all their time fixing these things up with cosmetic B.S. and don't have any time left for a guy who literally walked into the dealership and said "I want this. Please find me this and I will buy it from you." I mean really? That's like a kid walking up to a panel van and asking for candy. Ugh.

The TForce package has/had nothing to do with the McFly Tacoma.

    None... yet.
They had an Ivan Stewart special truck there when I bought my Taco there. I just saw that Marty McFly edition when I got my tint done. They were both pretty neat to see.

yes, I understand the dealer is filling a niche for those that just come in and do no research or just see bling and say "take my money please" :)

I had to give him some shit, set himself up for that one :D. However, I do realize that everyone has different taste and I respect all builds no matter how much Texas has influenced them
