Go for YARD, you can build a garage to YOUR liking, and have space around you.

I have the space to build, i just don't have the $$$ to do it. Hopefully with the wife getting this new gig things will fall into place soon

My house is 3br, 2 full bath, on one acre, payment is under $700, have TW fiber in the hood and ATT working on bringing it.

 

Dang - that's mortgage payment territory. Shouldn't have any issues finding the right place with that kind of bank roll

 

That won't go well with a Rental.

I got a 5br, 2car garage, 3 bath on 3/4 acre and the mortgage payment is around that. I'm not using 2 of the bedrooms right now. I'll airbnb them to you.

Future plans aren't solid enough to buy. I'm not gonna buy and then sell a year later.

 

Sadly I have friends that do that. Not sure if it's their intention or not but I've known them around 4 years and they are currently moving to their 5th house since I met them. They should just rent
