Thanks for the product info. I do have an antenna on the outside. Again though, the radio has been working perfectly since I've had the truck and once I pulled the console out to get rid of the wires that weren't being used this started to happen.

Look for the factory antenna wire behind your dash and/or glove box. You see how easy it is to get behind there... glove box is two or three screws (or 10mm bolts, can't remember).

Regardless of what was(n't) happening before, hooking the antenna up to the head unit should solve your problems.

Maybe the RCAs being connected to the rear output(?) was resting up against the female port of the antenna on the head unit and that extra length of wire was enough to give you reception?

Just for piece of mind put those rca cabkes back on how there were and play with them to see if your reception comes back. Just so you're not questioning why it worked before and not now.

Also, as has already been suggested, there has to be the oem antenna connection in there somewhere id imagine.

Wow guys, I feel totally stupid...thank you for all your help and quick replies, I love this forum! I pulled the glove box down, felt a cable that looked to be running the direction from the outside antenna and the radio, and walla, there it was hanging below it. Radio works perfectly now!
