    Saw this while I was walking down the sidewalk the other day. Just wanted to see if anyone else had seen these before. If so, what do you know about them, and where can I get one?

    Prices are all over the place depending on condition and whether or not they have a diesel. I've seen prices as low as $10k up to $60k for some restored trucks.

    Certainly a Unimog. Been produced for decades.

    My favorite version. :thumbsup:

    Unimogs with the amazing portal hubs are damn near unstoppable.

    Google unimog videos and you'll be entertained for hours.

    Here's a concept from the Chicago Auto Show. Guess you can mod anything.

    What I found interesting with this concept from the show is that it's a Sprinter van chassis.

    For what it's worth; This was a report from June of 2015;
    The Mercedes-Benz Unimog, the super-duper heavy-duty off-road workhorse vehicle that the German automaker has been making for more than 60 years, may soon be sold in Canada once again after a hiatus. Regulators had taken issue with both their emissions (super torquey diesel engines don't tend to run real clean) and the fact that some folks would take them out on city streets and even highways (these beasts have a top speed of about 25 miles per hour). Now, regulatory officials are considering allowing the Unimog to be sold in Canada again, albeit under strictly off-road driving regulations, Canada's Driving says.

    I wonder..is it a true Unimog, or is it basically just a modified Sprinter? Is MB using the Sprinter chassis under the Moggie? Worth some research...
    Notice that the front plate says "Sprinter"...

    I just wonder how the one in my original post got to the states. Especially Wyoming which is pretty far from the nearest port.
