    I'm not buying it. how do you not notice nair in your shampoo... that crap STINKS like hell, and takes a while to work.. (don't ask me how I know :anonymous: )

    I believe we were both referring to the YouTube vid, not the original story. ps: putting Nair in someone's hair when they sleeping is fuuuuuuuucked up!!

    Same as everybody else...
    A buddy of mine served on boomers in the Navy. He swears that they would put small amounts of nair in the shampoo of new crewmembers. After a time their hair would begin to fall out slowly and then the rumor would be that it had something to do with the reactor or some such. Not sure if it's true but it does make for a good story.

    lol, would be funny if it worked.

    so, i shave my head, and one day the wife and i thought it would be a laugh to give Nair a shot instead (there may have been some drinks involved). all i can say is that it STINKS, burns and after all that didn't even work very well. it was all uneven and patchy so i ended up having to shave anyway
