Ref, any issues with your new wheels and tires? My KO2's vibrate anywhere over 55 mph and it's getting a little annoying.

I like the way the SR5 looks, and if you're looking to save some money. This is the right choice.
However, I can think of 2 main downsides:
    1. It lacks LED DRL's like the TRD trims
    2. Not crazy about the interior color options

Otherwise, the SR5 would be a trim I would purchase.

I love my sr5. Bilstein 5100 set at second notch from bottom, bfg ko2 265/75/16 , scs f5 16x8 4.5 backspacing all that money I saved from getting the off road or sport made me get exactly what I wanted

I'm still a few years out from replacing my 2005 SR5. The main reasons I'd lean towards a TRD package is to get the 6 speed MT. I'd get a DCLB 4x4 SR5 with a manual transmission if I could. When I bought my 2005 I seem to remember that being an option. At the time, I didn't need or want 4x4 and you couldn't get a double cab pre runner with a manual transmission.

this is one of the best looking trucks I've seen on this forum! I'm going to get this color when I decide to buy. Just not sure if I'm going SR5 or Offroad. Can I ask how much did you pay for this? Also does the SR5 have a 3 prong power outlet somewhere?

Thanks bro I paid about 33000 when it first was released maybe cheaper now. unfortunately the sr5 does not come with the outlet. Only got mini storage to store tie downs in the bed.

I'm comparing the Sr5 vs TRD Sport. They both come in Double cab long box in Canada. OR unfortunately does not.

    Sr5 is about 2,000 less.
    -No keyless entry
    -Grey interior
    -No LED drl

    TRD Sport
    -Upgraded shocks
    -17 rims
    -colour matched
    -black interior
    -upgraded head unit
    -heated seats

To me, I plan on putting in Fox suspension, changing the tires and adding katskinz leather. I like that the TRD has the black headliner and already has heated seats.

I'm having a tough time deciding between the two, might end up with the Sport but will have to add lockers eventually. Unless the release pricing for the TRD PRO soon!

My Raptor has spoiled me with the capability and luxury side of things so I want that in my next truck!

    none..................yet
mine is the SR5 with JBL sound system (just adds more low end not really worth it). But I am not losing any sleep over having the SR5. I love it and it basically gives me a blank slate to make it mine. I bought it used (2010 just purchased 6wks ago) with 52k on the clock. Love my rig!

I don't understand... some of the sr5s I see have steel wheels but mine came with the same alloys as a TRD offroad. When I bought my truck I'm pretty the only ones that came with steels were Base and 5 luggers. Maybe it's a canada thing?

The "Steelies" on the SR5 are 6 lug 16". If you get the "Appearance Package" the wheels are the all silver 16's, auto mirror, and Fender Flares. Mine is the Base SR5 then I did the wheels and tires etc.

Nailed it perfectly. I like the way the interior matches the exterior. Saying you did a good job overall is an understatement. Easily one of my top 10 favorite trucks on the forum:cheers:

Nice grille, probably something the trd should come with.

No issues at all - I had Toyo's last time and was a little worried, but turned out to be quieter than I expected. Might be the better sound insulation in the truck too.

Do you mind sharing what wheels those are? How far do they stick out? If you could take a straight on front shot of the truck that would help a lot. I'm not looking to lift my truck since it's a 2 wheel drive but I would love a little wider stance. Nice looking truck!
