    that looks pretty sweet.

Check billings and bozeman craigslists. There were a decent amount of yotas, but I kinda figured you didn't want to travel all the way to Bozo for one.

I just texed asking if hte first one was available and gonna try to call at lunch. I lied though, its a 94 for 1500. Im kinda doubting it cuz it just looks to clean on the outside, so i feel its fake.

If that's not quiet what your looking for let me know. I just remember you mentioning you had the tools now so you could fix it and resell.

It's a really slow time at work so don't judge lol.

I'll check them out in a bit. Got a lot of hits on old land cruisers fj60s. Most like at 3-4 but they are willing to drop to 2800 - 3500.

A LC would be awesome, especially since you already have the truck, hard to justify needing another truck bed.

Most of those I sent were 4runners in the 3K range, not amazing but decent if you wanted to fix something and sell it.

Yeah, the gf really likes the old cruisers too. It wouldn't be bought for her but if she likes it, she could easily buy it off me at a later time.

Nice!! If the gf is into them your gold. Mine once called an old fj40 a jeep... I knew she was trying her best but that one cut deep.

They have become more of a collector item then an actual vehicle it seems. If its used then its beat to shit and rusted, if its just a cruiser then its like 20k

Yeah, she really wanted a 4runner when she was buying new vehicles. She couldn't afford a newer one and her parents wouldn't allow her to get an older one (they helped pay for it). They ended up with a 2wd xterra which is surprisingly a nice little vehicle. I have grown to like it as I drive it around town.

Pretty sure Ill be picking up a 92 LC for 2k on saturday if I don't have the truck running good by sat morning. Unless its truely just a POS but from speaking with the owner it looks like everything is cosmetic :fingerscrossed:

So I decided to go down and grab the Land cruiser regardless of where my truck is at. After this experience it makes sense to have a back up vehicle hanging around. If it runs at 2k there is no reason to not get it. It's one of those vehicles that with a little work you could sell for more, or sell it in a year in similar condition for the same price.

@SconnieHailer be careful if you are coming back tonight. We just had a fairly random and nasty rain/snow hit. Roads are probably going to be super iced up if it keeps up. Also, if you come back tomorrow be sure to hit me up. I'll be done with class before noon and back at home working on the truck. Not much left to do now that I have a proper hook up to pressurize the cylinders.
