    Rear Billy 5100's are supposed to be installed boots down. Not sure about the OME's though

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    Have you been in a situation that required one? Putting a locker in the front of our trucks asks a lot of the diff and CVs. But yeah unless you want a lunchbox locker the ARB is the best choice cause you can go full open diff when your done.

    Has anyone had to take off the door panel and unlock a door that is stuck shut? My front passenger door is currently stuck shut. I am sure the door lock actuator and/or the locking mechanism is messed up. The handles won't engage even if i try pulling up on the tab to try to manually unlock the door.

    I don't know about the panel but maybe these or a creatively bent coat hanger, and fish around in there to see if you can trip it.

    This. It's something I'm really trying to think hard about because it's a ton of investment on something that should be used relatively sparingly in our diff's as the skinny pedal and a front ifs diff is likely to shred a CV pretty easily. Half of me is like DO IT LOCKED FRONT AND REAR IS THE BEES KNEES but at the same time it's $800 that can easily be better spent elsewhere right now. Only reason I'm considering it is because I plan on re-gearing the diff very soon and I'm told if you do that you may as well install the FL at the same time.

    I'm having the same thought process. I probably don't need a front locker, but if I'm going to regear I'd rather get it done and not regret it later.

    Exactly why I'm budgeting for both, worst case scenario. Definitely hard on the wallet since I want to do it relatively all at once though. I knew it was going to be expensive but not couple thousand expensive (including the tires that require the regear in there too).

    I've been wanting to do this for a long time but nobody was making a nice aluminum strip with high quality LEDs. It sounds like these are really nice and bright SMDs, maybe 5050s or something better.
