Theoretically as long as the threads are the same any lug nut should work. The nuts may not fit in the holes on the pro wheels if the nut hole is narrower than stock the lug nut width. If you do your work at the dealership you may have a hard time getting them to use anything other than oem toyota parts. Liability and such. Most of the used pro wheels I have see for sale come with the pro lug nuts.

 

Trust me I tried, he wasn't having it. He wanted to sell the thing as a whole :/

I like the wheels a lot. I could have swore there was a thread like 2 years ago talking about Em being recalled....

Ah well that was a long time ago and my memory sucks lol

 

They where purchased from a Florida Toyota dealer. I am not trying to use anything but OEM parts. The lugs are on the truck and the wheels are Toyota TRD wheels.

 

Maybe the 16"?

It's not the same dealer. I had them shipped from the Florida dealer. I live in NH.

I can't believe know one on here has used these wheels with stock lugs & sensors!

 

Its not too surprising. Most of us have cars older than 2005 so no sensors. As far as the rims its a crapshoot. Personally I'd never put those rims on my 4runner but that's because I don't believe those rims belong on a 90. I think most third geners would agree too

 

You also have a 4th gen. If I had a newer runner I would too. I just don't think it makes sense to have those rims on a 90
