holy crap those are about 2-300 above normal.

    15 camry 7/100 = 1000
    14 rav4 7/100 = 1050
    14 4runner 7/125 = 1350

and I paid about 1-200 above what others have paid since I wasn't able to go out of state to purchase mine.

Really? The only way I can see coming out on top is if the engine or transmission goes. If we start seeing engines and tranny's drop out under 125k on a tacoma, toyota is going to go down the drain in years to come. I'll take the risk....Hopefully I don't have to edit this post in 10 years.

Even my early 2000's ford explorer engine and transmission made it well past that....

forgot to add, my 1350 cost was actually less since I usually roll the refund into the next one. I think I paid $500 out of pocket after refund for the 4runner.

daughter rav4, she paid full price since this was her first and she intends to keep it for 6-8 years.

son camry, I paid that since he's in college. but once he buys his next, its his money.

I got the 7yr 100k for $1350 when I bought the truck. With this being the first year of the redesign I wanted to have the extra warranty.

The extended warranty is a must with all the tech on the new trucks. My dealership offered a lifetime powertrain with the purchase of the truck, and I paid $1900 extra for a lifetime warranty on everything else. (excluding normal wear and tear items i.e. tires, wipers, etc.)

Wow that is considerably cheaper than what I was quoted. Where did you get it? I think I can shop around at any toyota dealership for this rate.

That's probably $50 over cost, cause I work there. Win for me.

I would if I was still in F&I. Have not done it since 2012 and don't know what Toyota's policy RE out of state sales is right now.

I think my 9yr/90k comprehensive warranty was like $1100? I'm not worried about the power train, I'm worried about everything else.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I didn't bother. But I wanted to start working on my own truck so I could learn how it works and how to fix it.

It is a dealership warranty. Are they asking too much. I already asked if it was negotiable. I thought it was a little too high as well.
