Finally got around to ordering mine.

Would one of you folks who has received yours turn it over and see what kind of mounting holes are on the bottom? Are they threaded? Thanks.

I've been running a small 18 liter Dometic in the back of my Taco for a couple of years and I'm very pleased with the performance. I tow my dirtbike and sleep in the shell. The fridge is so quiet I can barely hear when it starts up. It runs off a house battery in the shell and will easily go all weekend without pulling the battery down much. Last Spring I was out in Moab parked for a week with a 100 watt solar panel keeping everything charged up.

I expect the Indel B to perform pretty much the same. I'm planning on getting a Transit to use as a moto hauler and it'll be nice to have the larger capacity.

Just got the invoice while I was typing this. Mine ships out tomorrow.

Those are probably the best pics you could have posted! Good to know it's nearly a perfect fit!

I figured that would be helpful for people. I didn't have to move my driver's seat at all and I have and inch to recline, lol! My seat is always all the way back on the slide too. Eventually this will probably be moved to the bed once I install the slide and wire power.

I let it sit for 4-5 hours before turning it on. That's plenty for the R134a and oil to get down back into the compressor. Started it up, went from 48F to 25F in about a half hour. Not too bad, I'll take it! Thanks for this GB, parties will never be the same!

Dual Ham Radio, CB, BlueSea FuseBlock, additional USB ports, two plugs to power refrigerators, solar.
I ordered the slide only since I already own the fridge. Too bad the 25% off isn't from the $199.99 price listed. The discount ends up not being as great a deal on this compared to the fridge. I noticed Equipt increased the price to $570 but no includes free shipping. So kudos to those that are taking full advantage of this great group by.

Mines scheduled for delivery tomorrow. But it doesn't help that I have to drive across the border to pick it up at my US PO box. I won't be able to get to it until Wednesday evening at the earliest. Then I have to drive it back across the border, possibly get charged duty and pay GST (sales tax). That currency exchange rate seriously hurts too. It still comes out to a great deal compared to anything I could buy locally.
But damn you Canada. Why you always gotta make ordering things so painful and difficult?

Just remove it from the box and make sure it all works. Drive it back as if it was always there in the first place!

So, I just want to make sure all is well before I start drilling holes... the stuff arrived, so I was thinking about doing it tonight. :D

When its running, does it sound a little sloshy/squeaky when you open the lid? Nothing crazy loud, but just more than the fan running.

And, I put it on max to cool it down, turned it to eco (while plugged into 120 at the house), and it seems like it is always running. If its running like this 24/7 it seems like it'd kill a battery or a few of them in no time. Maybe it works different when its on the 12v?

And according to the display, I'll put it at 00 degrees, and walk by it and its up at 05 instead of zero where I set it to (and was initially). Any idea how much of a range it is supposed to have. There is nothing in it so I know the temp fluctuates easier.

Hmm, I could just load the fridge up with groceries and use that as an excuse for going across the border. :anonymous:
It's a little less believable right now with the current exchange rate and I could still get charged duty on the groceries. They usually just wave you through if it's less than $100 and you don't have any prohibited items (Restricted fruit and veggies and no raw chicken currently as there is avian flu worries).

The other option would be to spend 48 hours in the states and then I wouldn't have to pay any duty when I came back across as my exemption limit would be $800. I've thought about maybe driving across the border, picking up the fridge and then camping somewhere for two nights. It would probably cost me around the same amount as just driving across and back in the same day and getting charged taxes and duty, but I'd get a trip out of it. However I also wouldn't have the time for a trip like that until early March.

    So many decisions.
