So I would like some feedback wether or not this truck is a fair price. I test drove it today. Drives flawlessly. Very lil to no scratches on it. It's was hard to find bad things about it. Besides bad shocks and the rear passenger head rests were missing. But for the most part it was very clean. So I talked him down to 15000$ that's all. Just wondering if Im getting it for what the truck is worth. Thanks!!

When I bought my 1st gen it had a similar asking price. But it only had 82k miles on it. It was beyond clean and came with a backup camera.

Buddy back home spent almost a year looking for the unicorn of be perfect 1st gen. The whole time I was telling him to just go new. After getting lied to and scammed a few times by dealers, he caved, and had no regrets with his second gen. And with 3rd gens out now, I'm sure you could find a left over new 2nd gen for a great price.

Yeah, he could've paid cash in full if he wanted but took a small loan to help build credit. Work your ass off and don't spend any of it has always been his motto

Rear locker, aired down, and more speed was always my motto with my old prerunner. Did some damage, but never didn't make it anywhere I didn't want to.

That being said, I finally fixed the loose wires for my locker anytime mod, so my next Sedona/ 4x4 "required" trip will become a 2wd challenge again. See how far I can make it :D

Yeah 4x4 makes a huge difference in line choices, places you can get, and overall driving style.

Just thought it worth mentioning that a 2wd Tacoma with a locker, will surprise you with the places it is capable of getting to
