Yeah I need to tune it, got an SWR? It's working great now, we had the plastic washer on the wrong side

And 8AM would be awesome if everyone else is down.

I don't have an SWR, but there is this https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-great-swr-meter-pass-around.411071/ it would be all you'd need. I can go ahead and have it sent to me, cuz I wanna re tune mine as well, and hopefully have it by March 19th.

Works for me, gonna try and tune it next weekend though. Huge open space and my buddy has what he calls a "top end" SWR

Cool! I think you should get a good tune. Ground was good and all your stuff looked good. Hopefully you get a 1.1 ratio

Yeah I think it'd work well. With the exception of the radio I've got good gear. Reason the magnetic didn't work, turns out, is because my cheap cobra doesn't have an internal ground.

So, who's up for Hidden Falls on the 19th?

You guys mind if I tag along this weekend?!

True question is, which of my mistresses should I bring along?

Naw, man, I'm going to bring my wife's Prius.

    o_O

    Of course.

You in Austin or Germany? If you're coming from Deutschland, bring some Budvar or Warsteiner 1882s with you!

    For Saturday for sure....

Meant more for a quick lunch tomorrow. Mine is still sitting on jacks.....

Born and raised in good old Germany, but living here in Austin.

So can't bring anything from the homelands. Warsteiner is nasty anyways, grew up not even 20 miles from there and can't stand it.......

There was a bottled Oktoberfest brew that we would get flown in to us in Bosnia that was fantastic, and I was pretty sure it was a Warsteiner. Light, clean, refreshing, easy to drink in very large quanities, and only 2 marks a bottle when the exchange rate was 4 marks to the dollar.

I killed an insane amount of that stuff because Bosnia sucked.

I have too long till retirement, at least 9 more years lol. :infantry:

Edit: I want to at least make it to 20 before retirement. If we can get a group to Hidden falls in mid-late March, I'll be on leave so it works out. I just have duty this weekend. :(

Hell, you have at least two PCSs still in you. It's okay, we'll still be here.
