But how do they know it wasn't always there? Do they have a picture of your truck when you left?

    O'Canada problems. :blahblah:

They do take pictures of your vehicle as you go across, but they wouldn't be able to see the fridge inside. It's more of a fact of them seeing a shiny new fridge without a scratch on it and me with a lame ass excuse for why I crossed the border just an hour earlier. They could ask for paperwork proving how I obtained the fridge and in that case I would be fucked.

Yeah, it's really up to the border guard. Some wave you through, others are dinks.

I had to pay almost $90 a few weeks back to import my rock sliders. Fun stuff.

If I were in your guys' shoes I'd probably pretend like it was always there, and just say I forgot something at home and had to turn back around lol.

Enough O'Canada talk... any ideas on these? I wanna start drilling.. but only if all seems good to go.

And I guess it isn't running all the time, it just seemed like it was whenever I was near it. After paying attention, its not.

Just because it's running fine now doesn't mean it's going to be running fine a week from now. For that reason I'd be hesitant to modify it.

What's the reason for being so eager with the drill bit?

Just a few expensive & DIY things...
Those new units are on Indel's website, and man do they look good.
Will give NL a run for their money I hope in an affordable pricepoint.

I hear GB in a year again? I'll put this one [TB51] in the trailer....

I want it to work like I want it... And holding the lid open with my head while I dig around in the cooler is not how I want it to work. :D Its too tall to open fully while mounted in the truck. And, I wont be able to get to it from any other angle other than outside the truck, or I could flip it around and only access it from inside. Or I could change it like it should've been built, and access it from all points.

And I dont want to have to mess with it later on.

One thing that I wish this fridge had that the ARB version does have is a completly removeable lid.

    Good luck with the mod.

You could pretty easily make this one removable. Leave the latch working, and just take out the pins that it hinges on. Just takes a paperclip or small allen key (I used a 1.27mm) and push it in while you lift it off. If you are looking at the display, its the left side of the hing that you have to push in. You would probably need a strap for crazy bumpy stuff, but I think it would stay sealed enough while daily driving. And you can just pop it back in if it doesn't work.

Was getting ready to hinge it and I must've taken the screws outside. Debating on going to grab them.

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
Nice end to my day. Fridge sitting on my porch when I got home.
    But no mounting bracket! Wtf?
