We gotta tune ours. I know mines not the best either, its within range though. For some reason too, my new Pioneer headunit gets retarded when I try to talk to you guys over my CB. When I push to talk, the music coming through my speakers sounds retarded.

That's why mine sucked! I have the gay magnetic mount. I want to get a firestuck, tune it, and mount it on my bed bar

 

oic. i dont think they sell firesticks at frys, at least last time I called they didnt (this was like 2 months ago). Roland (Yoytoda) got a cheap no-name one from frys though and it seems to be working great for him, he had kick ass reception today.

 

Yea. I will pick one up next time I'm in the area. It's just soo far from me. I don't need anything expensive since I only use it for stuff like today

best place to buy CB equipment is at a truck stop..you'll find everything you will ever need. there's one off of the 10 at the Archibald ? exit just slightly east of the Ontario airport..Flying J's is what it's called. you can see it from the 10, on the south side.

Derek...I am getting a SWR Meter today...we should try to get together and make sure ours are tuned correctly. Mini CB Tune day.
