Looks great! Mine are in a box, with the switch and wire harness. I have to assume the weather will break sooner or later so I can get them in...

Excellent. That is why I like this forum. People helping people. I picked this tire size because it works for me. I didn't want to do any suspension mods. I do limited off roading and no rock crawling. My 4 wheeling because of my occupation consists of driving in extremely adverse weather. I.e. Blizzards at 1 in the morning. From the research I did that is about the biggest tire size you can put on without mods. Though I read a few said you can go bigger. But it must be close. Also bigger=heavier=lower MPG. The great thing is it's your truck make it what you want! . You can do what you want. If you rock crawl and/or like the look of a jacked up truck and you got the $$$, knock yourself out. I love this thread cause it shows some cool mods and gives good ideas by folks (with a few exceptions but that is what the ignore button is for) who share their experiences and give solid advice.

There are a couple threads on here in this forum with some good info about speaker upgrades.

Agreed! I'm in the same boat, plan to go 265/70/17 when I pull the trigger on the BFG KO2's. It's a pricey mod, so I have to get the wife on board.

Always best to get the final seal of approval first  After I got this one, my wife just looked at me and knew what was going to happen. She just said, "It's your truck, do what you want."

Yea, my wife is really chill about my hobbies. We are DINK so we have the disposable income and she knows how much I'm enjoying the truck. But as a courtesy, I try to invest some money into her and her hobbies every time I want to buy something as well... Makes everyone happy!

Nothing wrong with that. That's the way I see it too. I get stuff that I like for my hobbies, I try and look after her as well for stuff she likes.

Any insurance adjusters out there bumped a Camry with my license plate bracket. What do you this will cost? Small bump on plastic bumper. Lady wouldn't let it slide.

Greetings Everyone! Been luring for a few weeks soaking up all the information and modifications that people have been doing to their 3rd gen Taco's. This site is awesome and makes my head spin with all the ideas of things I want to do to mine... when I get it.

DCSB Sport on order and the build date is TODAY!!! Been looking at them for a few years now and I can't wait to join the club. This will be my first Tacoma and first Toyota.

Can't really blame her though. I mean i wouldn't let it slide either if it showed damage like that. It won't cost that much IMO probably a few hundred unless she will try to get the whole bumper replaced.

I got a key cut from a local Home Depot and had to have it cut twice before it worked. Had the same issue with the first key where it locked the tailgate but didn't unlock it.

Installed AP LT this week. Looking to add a front bumper that lets it show a little better. Anybody have an aluminum one yet? Steel seems a bit on the heavy side for what I've seen for the 16's that's available now.

That's computer aided design. Like when they build the entire part or bumper on the computer and usually a cnc or other machine can cut it or build it etc.

Having been through a similar event with a plastic bumper on a Highlander, about $800 if they don't have to replace the bumper. From the looks of it they could pull it off and heat that spot to pull it back out, then repaint it and reinstall.
