    I can sympathize, bajatacoguy. After 2 years of futility trying to "customize" a Subaru Outback, with the company thwarting me at every turn, I got the Taco and could EASILY go through $10,000 on add-ons and "toys". I've already added cab roof rack (installed myself), tailgate ladder (installed myself), mud flaps, locking bicycle bar for the bed, waterproof luggage bag for the bed, cargo net, and I still want a folding cover. THEN I start thinking about off-road performance...oh, my poor aching wallet...

    Don't buy this. Easily broken with anything blunt. Lots of surfers had their belongings stolen when they got ahold of the car keys inside the hitch safe.
