I wouldn't let it slide either honestly if that was mine. If there wasn't really any damage then I wouldn't have cared but there is damage there. The bumper won't need replacing. Looks like buffing/painting. My wife had a food truck back into her rear bumper during college. Put a hole in the bumper from the steel cart/rail that was attach to the back. Looked like a rectangle sort of instead of a circle hole. The repair shop was able to take the bumper off, heat it up, bend the hole back together and seal it back up. Couldn't tell it had happened.

That was in the back yard trying to see where the rubs are. The back stuffed all the way and were clear. Front had a small rub just forward of the tire bottom inner.

    Thanks man.

My father has owned wranglers for years. Nowhere near as comfy for sure. I agree. And if I got a jeep I'd much prefer the old inline 6 to the minivan engine in the 4 door ones...

I'd much prefer a Tacoma to anything really... But I'm not taking a worse deal this time. Just can't afford it.

Thanks bro. And hell I don't mind at all. I agreed to 5%. They wanted to raise it to 7%.

Have nothing negative on my credit, but have not much positive either... Credit score is 675. I don't expect 0%, I don't expect 3%... But my last one was 5% and that's what they agreed to this time as well.

I don't really care about the contract they signed, I'm a country boy... You shake my hand and say it's final, then go back on your word... I got no trust left for you... Damn sure won't sign another paper you put in front of me.

Progressive already paid 25300 for my SR, that the sticker price was 26000 on... Couldn't believe how much they paid the bank. But waiting on gap to cover the little remainder...

Still, I think I read it wouldn't change my credit score much if any... My first payment wasn't due until mid march. So no payment history... Granted any little bit helps, and it couldn't hurt the score either so no down side to waiting....

Oh, except... I can't get to the creek without wheels... Them catfish and bream are going to overpopulate without me there...

Now that I think about it, it's a global emergency... If I don't catch the fish the entire ecosystem Will be screwed to hell.

    Send donations quick :D

No holes in the bumper just a scratch. Happened to my wife too but her side bumper was cracked. 400 dollar check for a cracked bumper this is just a little scratch

Maybe someone that is good at detailing could buff it out. I'd offer to have her take it to a detailer and see if it's something he/she could repair there.

I had 6 keys made by them, only 1 worked. Return the other 5 for a refund. HD worker asked if I would like them to make the others again. No thanks, I got the rest made by a local locksmith store for just a little more.

Holy moly! 5% and 7%!?!? Is that what these crooks are asking these days? I might officially be getting old! I almost walked on my Taco when they first told me they'd give me 2.8% and tried to raise it to 3.29%! Your truck note must be close to a mortgage payment!

There's no reason to be paying that much interests on a new truck. Your credit score isn't great, but it's also on the higher end of average... So your credit is good. Especially if you're young.

Good luck with the search! My only advice is not to settle on something you don't love. Figure your budget and stick to it, make the bank/dealership meet you at your budget!

Are you a veteran by chance?

If you both signed a contract, is it legal to do that? I mean, it's not like you can go back the next day and say, "You know what? I'd like an extra $500 off. Thanks!"

You might try something like lending tree they get you multiple offers. It doesn't cost anything to look. Just watch that you don't get to many inquiries on your credit report it can negatively effect you credit. I have 788 FICO and my dealer wanted 4.25 I literally laughed at him. Dealers make money from the company they use to finance. I ended up getting Westerra Credit Union on my own. $5 membership fee and got financed at 1.9 for 60 months. They will pre approve you for a set amount so you know what you have to spend. But you must be vehicle specific. Just a suggestion

Talk to USAA. You can get an auto loan through USAA for WAY less than 7%. If you're not a USAA member, consider switching... tons of benefits for military and veterans.
