    Hell, fly into Portland or San Francisco and do a one way rental between the two and fly out of the other. Stay on the 101 and the 1 (south of Leggett) the whole way. Not a bad way to spend a week.

    Too long of a drive for me. I'm in georgia and after about two hours in a vehicle I start to go nuts!!! Plus I work for an airline so........... Thanks for the info!

    Does every vehicle need a permit or just one per group? I'd like to make it out there hopefully the next time TW has a get together or whenever the next time someone decides to go

    If I remember correctly, my buddy had the permit in his name, and all he did was write down my license plate number on his permit. there were 4 slots total per permit.
