Trying to decide if I want to get in on this to get a good discount, but I'm so new to the "mod world" I don't really know. SO...not to blow up this thread or anybodys notifications, but can somebody provide me with some advice? I'm currently just running the 3" Rough Country lift as it was cheap and satisfied my need to get the larger tires....so do I need UCAs? and with them do I need other parts? I just don't have the knowledge yet...

It helps with alignment and possible rubbing the stock UCA issues. If you plan on upgrading to coil-overs (I know for first gens) you need new UCAs. It's a pretty good deal, best I've seen on these so I'd jump in if I were you. But I'm bias because we need a few more to get the discount

I put spacers on to get my tires away from the stock UCA's. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but what would upgrade to coil-overs do for me (2nd gen)? Will these UCA's mount up where my stock one's currently sit without me having to do anything extra, or would there need to be adjusting?

Better to ask what I have not done.
They bolt right up. No other modding. And then like with every thing you will want to get an alinement afterwords but that's it. I can change them out in about an hour.

New coil-overs would help out with the ride while maintaining the lift. They're expensive tho about $1k. These mount up to stock location, you just have to install it and new uniball joints

This will correct the caster when lifting your truck. The amount of adjustment in the stock for runs out around 2". Im just under 2" on mine and out of spec. Additionally, you can get extended travel C/Os with the new UCAs
