Added some shock boots. The outboard shocks are taking too much abuse from dirt and gravel to leave them bare.

But even we're still babies compared to some of the 300K or even 400K+ guys on here.

True. My 99 had just shy of 200k when she was totaled. Who knows what kinda mileage she'd have by now

I don't care how many miles my truck lasts for as long as it lasts until I get rid of it. And unlike with previous vehicles of mine, I am going to put the effort/money into making sure this one does. It's the first vehicle I've owned that I specifically wanted. I'll treat it right so it can do the same.

I'm hoping it holds up for awhile. The tent is still in great shape but some of the pin holes are pretty egged out.

Lift question. If I put a 3/4" top plate spacer lift with my OME 881 coils would it really hurt my alignment numbers? I'm tired of the rake look.

do you have aftermarket uca? i think it would be pretty bad for your caster angles, at least on my truck when it had 881s and stock control arms (and kinda frozen cam bolts) the caster was not very adjustable, why not lower the rear if its too stinkbuggy?

Go open your door, look at the latch assembly and explain what the next step would be after removing the fender and hinges and the door is now hanging from the latch and loop strike, still not opened. I suppose you could force swing it off the latch assembly if not too proud of the sheet metal and paint. :)

Coat hanger and/or slim jim does work. Millions of car thieves and locksmiths can't be wrong. Campus cops don't count.
Block plate or whatever is not an issue, you're aiming to find whatever linkage is left to hook to.
I would try this first, don't expect immediate results. A mild bend in the coat hanger is what you want, not a full hook shape as it could get stuck in there. You won't necessarily be using an up and down motion but more likely a sideways motion to retract the latch
Also try from the inside of the door, not just the outside.

No I knew my alignment would be off if I had Toytec coil overs. Plus the AAL from Toytec doesn't make the ride firmer as other AAL does.

Did you have to modify the timbren mounting plate so it would fit flush on the AP u-bolt top plate. Did those flanged nuts hit the timbren plate?

Yes, any time you change the front ride height it changes the alignment. Camber is the most effected. Without an alignment, a change like you are asking about will cause uneven tire wear unless corrected.
