Well the guy with the Creepies texted me saying that he feels bad and I can still come get them if I want. I might still go pick them up and at least give them a try since I never wheel in the rain anyways. Worst case I don't like them, can put my iroks back on and sell the Creepies and get my money back and maybe even pocket a few bucks. @Supra TT got a pic of how you grooved them? I found this online and don't see why these wouldn't hook up

Around here I think they'll do fine. A guy I've wheeled with before runs creepies on his 4dr JK and loves them. For the wheeling we do when it gets wet it really doesn't matter what tires you have as long as they are round and roll.

I don't really wheel in the rain either unless I get caught in a storm. At this price I can't really go wrong

That sounds like my KM2's. Those suck in the wet, especially at the badlands when you get that wet sandy crap on them that never comes off and you slide off everything.

Well, I'm just speaking from my personal experience. They make look like they hook up, but looks can be deceiving. I only had 37's, so the 40s might be better. Not only did they suck in the wet, one of the biggest reasons I didn't like them is because they are so stiff and you need to air them down and they become 35's.

No, with the custom housing it was suggested not to, the minimal gains would not have been worth it.

Sounds a lot like my iroks now. They are 38.5" aired up and sucked dick until I took them down to 5-6 psi. Even there the don't pooch much till you get in the rocks and start throwing weight around. Were yours radial or bias?

I thought the point of beadlocks was to air down to low single digits? I run my non beadlocks wheel around 10psi and only popped one bead.

    Bayareataco: what kind of axles?

What's your estimated cost per complete unit if you don't mind me asking? Spec/components used?

Honestly I don't know, I have a pile of invoices I will add up when it's all done, I don't know what the shafts are going to cost from RCV yet so that's a big factor. If I were to guess about 5k an axle.

The shafts themselves won't be to bad, it's the birfield/repezza joint that is going to drive up the price on shafts. Your a brave man @bayareataco to add up build costs.

@Redneck92 brave or stupid, not sure which one haha.
    image.jpg image.jpg

Went to mount one of my Stealth 6s and they didn't fit on the hub, called Jerry to see what he did because he has a similar setup. Looks like I'll be taking a die grinder to the wheels!
