Everything is new now sans the calipers. I just put EBC rotors and pads on it.
Coming down the canyon, they faded in to nonexistence, I pulled over and they were hot and had a nice blueish tint to them. After they cooled they came back but not that good.
I'm gonna bleed the system tomorrow, inspect the pads for glazing, rough them up if needed, and see if that helps first. if not, then the Tundra upgrade is up next.

How'd you manage to heat up your brakes that much? Don't you drive like an old man and/or know how to engine brake?



Seems odd though. My complaints with the EBC pad rotor setup was never performance. I always thought breaking performance was excellent, including a lot of mountain driving. I opted for the Tundra brakes hoping I can get the same or better breaking performance out of pads that last longer than 10K like the EBCs.
