What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Looks like he took off the flares and swapped the front bumper for a base model one that did not come with flares.

 

Put down some fatmat on the floor and back wall. Tomorrow I'll hit the doors. Crappy cell pics

 

What ya mean? It's just a factory replacement bumper and removed fender flares

 

I took it to a shop here in town. the guy charged me 150 bucks to put them on. my driveway is pretty steep and I don't like to jack up my truck and then crawl under it to work on it

 

I've got the bolts in the middle setting so I gained about a half an inch of lift. if I move the bolts I can probably get an inch out of it

 

Does it come with instructions to what holes to use? Are you on stock springs? Thanks

 

Detailed in and out, tinted, and debadged. The guy even suggested when he removed my Leer logos that he replace them with carbon fiber. I love how it turned out. Better pics in its own thread later.

 

Got her all jacked up on Mt. Dew and an OME 2". She had a 1" budget from the PO and the OME sits 2" taller then with the 1" spacers. Alignment tomorrow. Rides nice as is around the block.

Alright got some new stuff comin in.. My friends giving me his 2" leveling kit just lifting the front but I'm still getting that 2" tuff country lift which is 2" in the front 1.25" in the back so overall 4" in the front and 1.25 in the back what tires will look the best? I like the bfg ko2's but also like the toyo country m/t's? Thx for the help

 

Stock springs for now. It came with zero instructions and nothing online either.

 

What caught my eye was the way the bumper sat flush with the fender without flares. My '12 wouldnt look like that...Didn't catch the "05" in your profile at first...

 

I just saw a couple photos of that new truck. Looks pretty nice and the motor specs aren't bad. Like all new trucks it's way overpriced though.

 

When I removed the flares it didn't match up either so I replaced the bumper for ones with no holes in it from the small flares that lined up with the fender flares. Just wanted something little different till I pull the trigger on a plate bumper

 

Installed a new stereo pioneer Avh-270bt. Will be adding a back up camera soon
