They make an adapter for Hdmi to micro USB (s5 charging port) -http://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-micro-usb-to-hdmi-adapter-white/2003027.p?id=1219068212097&skuId=2003027&ref=212&loc=1

Kind of pricey but trust me, the ones from Ali express or places like that won't work.

Also the AVITY-01 is iPhone only. For Android you'll need the wvity-01. Of course also more expensive.

Avity-01 will work with both, with proper cable. Iphone still needs cable as well. My guess is Wvity-01 may have some interference. Looks like the mfr is no longer producing it as well.

Whoops. Sorry for the wrong info. I thought I read that it was iPhone only and yea Amazon and eBay was the only place I saw them.

    S5 should be fine.

I haven't dived in yet to try, but maybe when I decide to get brave with taking things apart. I'm gun shy as I seem to break cap up when it comes to plastics or dash parts.

No worries man. If i were sure the wifi one would work without issues, that'd sure be the one I'd get. Being they no longer produce would have me concerned.

Use the button with film reel (2 right of the smiley face) in the replay box and follow those directions. Using YouTube is probably easiest.

Now we just need an install write up. Some members, myself included, would be willing to pay the extra money for a plug and play install like the avity-01. Also can you screen mirror from your phone using something such as chrome cast?
