My first thought was the booster was going out, but the pedal comes up with the engine off, and goes down after it's started. Pedal felt normal, there was just fade. I was braking pretty hard a few times to see how they performed. They have around 2000 miles on them of around town and light wheeling action on them, so they should be bedded in by now.
When I was out with Leo a month ago on the ice, I noticed them fade then too but thought it was just ice buildup.

It's been several years since they have been bled so I'll start there.

Took the truck to the track again and I finally got the truck to go to full bump. I need to set up the go pro to check out how the long travel is cycling when I push it.

    Caliper piston sticking?
Did the old ones wear more on one side than the other?

    Old pads were fairly even.
Sticking caliper crossed my mind. They are original.
I don't think they are frozen, when I changed the pads I had to push back the pistons and they went back ok. But who knows.

My thoughts are really old and dirty fluid, 20 year old truck. I have bleed them once since I owned it but that was shortly after I bought it, so well over 100,000 miles ago.
However, my buddies at O'Reilly have a set of re-mans on the shelf for 50.00 each if it comes down to it.

Anybody got a small trailer that I could use for an hour or two this weekend? Just need to move my motorcycle to our new place.

    Welp, bleeding did nothing.
Replaced both calipers and naturally the passenger side had a seep from the banjo bolt. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Removed bolt and upon closer inspection, with a magnifying glass cause I can't see shit, showed 3 little nicks on the casting. Filed it down best I could and now it's just a slow seep.
Brakes are of course a bit spongy. Pedal slowly goes to the floor...

Pads didn't look glazed, they did look a little rough so not sure what that was about. Rotors are shiny again after driving it around.
