My wife goes on a regular basis. She swears by it. She was much the same about it in the beginning, but changed her tune after going a few times. Now she has a monthly membership.

I don't like people touching me either when I'm working (in uniform), but other than that it depends if it's good touch or bad touch. :D

It probably would have been best to get the massage AFTER you spent the day installing the lift

I got one on our honeymoon. Did not like it. The second they were like do you want the oil that will give you energy out increase memory I wanted to call shenanigans. I did not find it relaxing at all.

What you want is a deep tissue massage from a physical therapist. No fu fu zen nonsense, just good old fashioned getting the shit beat out of your muscles until they loosen up.

Lol, somebody's doing some thread time-traveling this morning, @oldtacomaguy.

More to the topic at hand, I've had massages before but they're always from the massage therapist at the Chiropractor's office. I pulled an abdominal muscle moving our wood cookstove into the house a couple of years ago and had her work it over (she's smoking hot so I was nervous I might embarrass myself what with her spending so much time on my lower abdomen, but it was so painful that there were no such problems, haha!). I've had her work on my back a few times too, during firewood season. Nothing like a good deep-tissue massage to loosen you up after a weekend spent wrasslin' with heavy logs.

Never hhave, but I've seen a chiropractor before and I'd do it again in a minute. He isn't a backbreaker type, very careful.

I've been told by many I give a great backrub, and seeing as Cupcake has horrendous back problems...

I have this personal space thing as well, although sometimes it just has to be like at a concert.

Well I survived... Gotta say it was pretty great! Once I got over stripping to my skivies it was nice. This was a chiropractor's office, so definitely more medical oriented. Other than the wonky ethereal music, it was very... Focused? She didn't give me any of that universe, chakra silliness. I'd go there again.

Perfect timing for installing my rear springs... Sonoffa bitch...

I got my high lift mounted. I used metal flat stock to stiffen the box lid and thru bolted it as well as the mount bolts. Charging the batteries now to finish the last three holes
