I don't even have a lawyer.. I stay as far away from the as I can.

    Solve my own issues lol

Unless your shifter is super floppy, in sure it's fine. It moves with bumps and vibes.

I dunno, man.. I just want this shit to be over. I'll roll some video today and you guys can decide if it's normal now. I sure wasn't before, and it didn't magically change without human intervention.

I generally do the same. Unfortunately, I chose a really shitty dealership, and the only thing that got my truck on a lift and me talking to the GM was the letter from my lawyer. At the end, my shifter no longer looks it's mounted on a spring, and I have my truck back. For the sake of a couple hundred bucks in legal fees, I'd call this a success. Too bad I didn't call the lawyer first thing Monday morning when they were feeding me nothing but bullshit, and not even pretending to look at the problem. Maybe I wouldn't have burned the entire week on this.

So they didn't give you any paperwork detailing what had occurred? Something here isn't adding up.

Or you could have exhibited the patience of a normal adult, not involve a lawyer like a chode, and saved your $200. Color me a little skeptical about this whole thing.

Driving around today it seemed mine maybe moves about 1" total, so like 1/2" either way ... not really all that much. This is about normal what I expect from a manual transmission, some movement is normal.

Wow there's a lot of trolls around here. Lets all just bait the new guy and then call him a dick when he responds. Nice.

Anyway.. it took a few hours, but I was finally able to upload the first video. This one shows the shifter as I drive down my road at between 80-90km/h. There is much less movement than before, but still more than the silver TRD I test drove. See what ya think... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMB1_-7yje0

I have another video to upload with the GoPro in the windshield showing the same stretch of road. I just turned around at the end of the video above, moved the cam to the windshield, and drove back to where I started. I'm on satellite internet, so it will take about 4hrs to get the video up there.

Is that a pretty rough road you're driving on?
