I was very happy with 31's with my 1st gen Taco. IMO a perfect balance between daily driving (which I did much more of) and wheeling.

When thinking about buying 35's, you must first account for how much money you're willing to spend on cutoff wheels, because trust me, it's a lot. haha

Yeah ive decided for me at least it's not worth it to try and tin anything larger than a 33. My next tires will probably be a 32. I'm just giving you all shit

My long travel actually won't require fiberglass fenders :spy:

A quality 33 isn't too hard to daily with. Yeah my truck struggles sometimes but some nice toyos aired up to 50 psi and my runner drives like a dream. 31s and lifted 4runners just look goofy as hell.

I may not even go 35 to be honest. I might bump up to a true 33 or a 34 and call it good once my rt's are ready to be replaced. We'll see I guess.

You can stream sports packages online. I get every hockey game streamed on my Xbox one in 60fps HD. I would assume most sports have this type of setup.

I'm thinking of going with 295/75/16. Just over 33 with a tad bit more width. ATII's come in the extreme at that size and are a few bucks more than 285s.

    Sold already unfortunately.

We might need to talk more then... I would be interested.

I was a big fan of the 33x10.5x15 KM2s with a full OME lift and bumpers/sliders/skids on my first gen. Between the ELocker, armor, and good driver mod; I covered alot of ground around AZ and UT in the year I had it.

The 33s were the tallest I would want to run before regearing. Took a couple downshifts to climb up towards Flagstaff with a full load.

But any bigger would have drawn me into the trails that are really home for the buggy/crawler/solid axle. Hence why I picked up the buggy for less than I would have spent on a SAS.

Down in Phoenix today. Supposed to be hiking thunderbird mountain or something if the women aren't too hung over from last night. Anyone know of some real good challenging hikes not too far from Peoria? Other than camelback. That gets too busy on a Saturday.

@christhebassman Yeah I know Brandon and have hung out with him a handful of times and helped him out with his grill mod actually. He's a good guy and will be totally honest with you with whatever questions are asked. When I rode with him up to Phoenix about a year ago for a Monday meet, the tires wouldn't balance if I remember right so it's great there's new tires on it. The timing cover cover leak probably does need to be fixed like he said and I think he's trying to get it done before selling but I wouldn't bank on it if the buyer is okay with it and can do it themselves. He texted me yesterday about seeing if I had ever done that repair and I have not but told him I'm willing to help however possible.

If you would like me to go check it out further for you, let me know and I will. I haven't seen it up close in probably 6ish months aside from around town.
