Hope the truck that's coming in to the dealer is exactly what you're looking for! If so, you'll be ready to roll in a great 4x4, and if not there are others you'll find. The RIGHT truck will be the one you look over and say to yourself, "That's it, the one I want and the one I need!"

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
i would measure between the bed rails and see if u need the downsize or midsize....i had to get the downsized one for mine b/c hey offered it in black...if they offered black in the midsized i'd have gotten it. the only difference is that the downsized one is 3" narrower at the top where it hangs over the side rails

I almost don't blame you for what you may do. I just sold my 2000 prerunner last week and miss it already. They just seem to be a better built truck. Not as roomy but none the less I did not have to fight the damn alignment issues and that trucks a/c was constantly cold. Never had a problem. My 2000 was a work truck and thats what it was used for. Hard work. I beat that truck pretty good, constantly was hauling trailers, loading the bed with wood, sand, gravel, tools, etc and never had any rattle issues or alignment problems etc...Never bent the tailgate either. I'm afraid to even stand or sit on my 2005 tailgate!:eek::eek:

i may end up missing the room a little, but i think i'll be able to manage just fie, especially since i will have 4x4, and maybe the double cab, if the dc is what the dealer finds. those first gens are bulletproof.

now...........gotta sell my aries bull bar(polished stainless in awesome shape) and also my airaid intake.......going to be selling both of these items in a few weeks or month or so(i took them off my truck yesterday!!).

Will the bull bar you're selling fit my '03 DC? More than likely not or you would keep it yourself - but I thought I'd go ahead and ask anyway!

its actually for the 05 and up, as i think the mounts are different. i was thinking about trying to mount it to the truck i get, but i have ultimately decided to sell it instead and get myself a good black brush guard......otherwise, i'd sell it to ya.

Hey T-progress looking up I see:D On thebullbar I think you may have an issue cause the boxframe is a little wider on 2nd-gens where it mounts up:(
