My jeep had a similar problem once. It was the gas. My wife used to drive it until we got the highlander. She used to always go to the shitty gas stations. Now I have her buying gas only from top tier stations. No problems since then.

She got her first bath today after I installed the 5" Steelcraft nerf bars from Auto Anything. First gas fill-up yesterday. Last week was OEM all weather mats and mud guards and black reflective tailgate letter inserts.Mirror.jpg

Here's a pic of the Homelink mirror (someone asked for it) the dealer installed yesterday. I ordered the truck with it, but they installed the auto-dimming with compass. The auto dimming is for sale. The Homelink seems to ride higher than the other.

Rides great! A little louder than the stock fire stones but not by much. They ride a lot better than the fire stones though.

I love my AT3s. The ride is very smooth and handle well. Quiet too. I went with these due to the lightest weight tire I could find and I like Cooper. My STTs from the past are my favorite tire ever, but louder and much heavier. The AT3s were a more senior choice.

In all the contracts I've read, from vehicles I purchased, there has always been a clause in the fine print that states the sale is contingent on loan approval. Sometimes that can take several days, hence the call back saying "sorry, but you don't get that rate"! Luckily I was aware of that from the very first vehicle I purchased (thanks Dad) and have always used my credit union for the loan. A finance guy at a dealership told me that he would recommend, if he were allowed to, that you leave the car at the dealer until the loan clears. They know that once you have the car a few days you're not likely to give it up and will settle for the higher rate.
