In all the contracts I've read, from vehicles I purchased, there has always been a clause in the fine print that states the sale is contingent on loan approval. Sometimes that can take several days, hence the call back saying "sorry, but you don't get that rate"! Luckily I was aware of that from the very first vehicle I purchased (thanks Dad) and have always used my credit union for the loan. A finance guy at a dealership told me that he would recommend, if he were allowed to, that you leave the car at the dealer until the loan clears. Ahh gotcha. That makes sense. Guess those people that I read about just got lucky and the dealer settled for the lower rate and ate the difference. Personally I'd give it back too if they called back and changed the rate.

Installed LED lights in the cabin and rear bumper. I took the pics so you can see what the difference is in color and brightness. Also installed Husky floor liner/mats.

This is so great to see. My wife and I were just talking about these floor liners, the stock AW mats let too much dirt onto the carpet. Thanks for the post

Finally pulled the trigger and ordered a 2016 tacoma, 35,498 MSRP got it for 33,552. going to be a long 4-8 weeks...went in with the intention to get a MGM and saw the BBP and it sealed the deal!

I’ve just about “Tricked-Out my Plain Jane Taco SR to my liking. I’ve done the following Mods as per moe2o4’s fine instructions ;-) Cruise Control, Fog Lights & Wiper Mod.
WeatherTech floor mats/mud guards.
Toyota rubber bed mat.
Fiamm El Grande dual horns
Body side and grill trim.
Some pics:

Fog Light Kit that moe recommended with Hella yellow bulbs. SS Trim in center of grill.

2 1/4" Body side moulding from a 90's Chevy Van.

I found some Magnetic tape (picture hanging" at Wally-World that worked great for setting a "Line"

Fiamm Horns mounted in Factory location. Used two "L" brackets from hardware store and fashioned a "Y" connector to use with OEM harness. Sounds like a truck now;-)

That's IT for now!! I ordered a Century High-C Topper today .... I hope it's not made on a Monday!! ;-(

PS: I've got 16 1/2 + Feet' of this Body Trim. I had to order enough for a Big Chevy Van. It only takes 15" to do a Taco. If anybody would like to buy it and all the stuff I got to do the job I can make Ya a Deal!

I love my weatherbeaters. They are nasty after a couple of small snowfalls and a bunch of rain. Kept a ton of crap out of my carpet.
