Attempted to get my flares cut and trimmed, Rear wasn't lining up right for some reason :notsure: I moved it around a bunch to try different ways but the best I could do is about .5-.75" difference, so the bumper will stick out further than the flare. I think with the bushwhackers they are made to look like the wheel well is larger where as the factory flare sticks into the wheel well more. So that kind of sucks, maybe I'm doing something wrong

I saw that you didn't have the tpms sensors in your wheels, looks like regular stems? What was your solution for the tpms light on the dash? Thanks

My solution? I stare at it and keep telling myself "I should just disable that stupid light"

One of these days ill get around to it, but it doesn't bother me much

Just wondering since I'm about to mount up my new methods, should I stay away from tpms? Reason you didn't put them in?

Lazy and didn't feel like taking stock wheels and tires apart to get them out nor paying someone to do it.

I wouldn't tell you to stay away but I've had issues in the past with them. To me id rather not waste my time with a nanny sensor that does nothing for me, When/If I sell the truck the sensors will be there in the stock wheels

Also if you put your spare on a swing out good chance it'll be "out of range" and the light will come on anyway. Thats what i've been told before anyway

Well said, I had issues also and I don't feel like carrying the problem over to the new wheels, you just helped with my decision thanks

Hmm, I know everytime I go to my storage unit the sensors link up with my truck at about 30ft. But wouldn't that be stupid if every time you opened it up the light would turn on

Between the different threads you have a couple of options if you want the light off. I may just add some electrical tape in front of the led (backside of the cluster) that way I can easily pull the tape if needed instead of soldering a new led or reversing the tpms disable.

What did you say to unhook when it's raining while I have no snorkel?

Depends on how heavy the rain is, if its pouring and I'm going to be driving for a while the 2 bolts the hold the end of the intake hose by the fender. Just un bolt and pull the hose out somewhere out of the way, not much if any water comes up into the engine bay when just driving in the rain. You just need the end of the hose out of the wheel well

I always just kept the one bolt in since the second one is hard to get to, you'll know which one. Also careful of the rubber grommets and metal sleeves that are in the mounts, its best to put them in a safe place while un bolted so you don't lose them
