I'm not picky on hex receiver or what not. Wanting a tula Idc what shape stock is in as I'm replacing as long as bore and mechanicals are good then I'm golden as I plan on cutting down anyway.

    Backordered, though.
You can get put on a 'wait' list, but then when they come available again they'll likely be a different price (speaking from personal experience with SG)

But, they're still usually the cheapest around for bulk surplus 7.62. I got 5 of those 440rd packs last year, lol. :anonymous:

It's amazing how much the price on them has gone up in a year, really. I ordered mine from SG around this time last year and I think that I paid around $100 per, with free shipping, for the 440 round spam cans.

This item was the ones that I bought.

Got five of them within a couple of months. They didn't come with the opener thingy, but I just use a cold chisel instead and it works just fine.

Yeah, you see sales pop up every so often on Brown Bear or Wolf for not much more than that per round.

Nice. No sidewalks around here, but I imagine the pavement on the road would do the trick too.

I've been pluckin up some Tula made non-corrosive stuff from Academy. I also have an undisclosed amount on the spam cans too but no searching/driving to get them makes scoring the readily available stuff from around the corner worth it to me.

Lately when I shoot mine I've been just using the Wolf poly cases. It's readily available, and it saves me having to open up my 'long-term storage' reserves. I figure nothing I can do is going to be better than those sealed-from-the-factory spam cans.

yep. had a "gunsmith" at my local store install it. didnt want to dick up the receiver. he ended up mounting the handle too far to the rear, so i had to dremel it.

I made a stock for mine 20-25 years ago. I need to get it out and post some picks. Did not know about this thread. Got a tundra and been over there.
