Haha thanks man, feel free to stop by and say hi whenever. I've met a few guys that way actually. A couple mountain bike guys have sweet build Toyotas that I always pick their brain on, most recently was a frame up resto on a 60 series.

And definitely a pretty penny. Too much for me considering its a first gen, nothing against them by any means but I'd only pick one up if it was super cheap, like half of that.
I actually gave that guy my factory bumper so he owes me... Right..?

There's a company (water port I think) that makes pressurized water tanks at around 3 gallons in size and I REALLY want one. Unfortunately they're a newer company and I can't find much on the quality of them. I might have to bite the bullet on one for the summer as this could be a necessity with going to the beach and such. Perfect for the spare tire location too.

Yeah I woulda stopped by if I didn't have the kid out. I agree. I'm too cheap to pay for a semi good deal which is exactly why I'm still looking for coilovers.

Don't want you guys robbing me.

I am not a huge fan of sticking water or gas in the sun, so that thing sounds sweet!

If I fill up right when my light comes on it is usually right around 14ish gallons.

The power difference is very significant between my supercharged 7th 4Runner and the Tundra. The 4Runner is lighter and has some good power but the Tundra (even my big double cab) gets up and goes. When I get on the gas it's pretty damn fast and the power is so smooth. The sc power was always a little jerky and all over the place. The v8 just loves to suck down fuel and go. Not sure how his AC and non-vvti compared but I'm sure it's similar.

Interesting. I was curious about Tbuzz because we are both around 8000 feet. With so much power loss on the naturally aspirated engine and virtually none on the supercharged engine I was wondering how they compared.

    Wow bro... no faith.
Kinda but there are differences in additives but for extreme duty (off roading) it all goes to shit with dirt intrusion through seals and breathers before the additives break down anyways... just keep up on the services

Ford tank is the same capacity just a different shape.

Doesn't seem worth it to have as your only tank. Especially if you have to modify the suspension.

You don't have to modify the suspension to put the ford tank in. It gives you more room in front of the axle to do any modifications you may want.

Like when I just did my new links I had to beat the tank a bit to get it to fit back in. Also you wouldn't have to worry about hitting the drive shaft on the tank when flexing.

    I'm officially getting full skids:D
1/8" or 3/16" though? My factory skid is still in good condition, I don't do any heavy trails or anything like that. I'm looking to in the future but no one knows what that holds. Mainly for light trail and beach rides. Opinions?

Tundra has way more torque down low. It'll burn out pretty easy even up here. It's 0-50 is much faster. My daily commute is only a few miles though so my driving consists of start and stop 35 and under. I rarely have the chance to drive it above 60mph.
