I picked up some Pro Comp 7069 15x8 3.75 BS -19mm offset today and pulled one out to test fit. It does clear the caliper so i'm safe there. However, the edge of the rim is almost perfectly lined up with the edge of the fender flare. I really don't want my tires to stick out and was hoping they'd be close to flush.

I have some 31x10.50r15 all terrains I planned on putting on. I'm just wondering, without mounting them if any of you could have a guess how they'd look in terms of sticking out? I was ready to return them but now i'm thinking they might be close to perfect. I'm guessing the treads will be covered by the fender flares and just the bowed out sidewalls will stick out. I just don't like the look of any tread not covered by the flares.

I bet youd be okay, if the tread does poke out a bit im sure itd be fairly minimal. ..

Decided to bite it and have the tire shop mount one wheel to see how it fit. It's so damn close and just what i thought, near perfect. This also confirms that the Pro Comp 15x8 wheels do in fact fit the tacoma pretty well which I struggled to confirm online.

I almost feel like i could have fit a slightly larger tire in there. Everyone said 31s were the largest I could go without rubbing though. Oh well, i can always change that later.

Nice, they fit well! You wont be abke to really fit much of a bigger tire. When at full lock and really working your suspension youll start to get a rub at the pinch weld/back of the fender area, which can be cut and hammered down.

Yeah, i'm glad i went with this size. They even rub just a hair at full lock as it is. I think it's just plastic i can trim though.

Ahh, if thats the case youll get a pretty good rub cycling the suspension then. Just behind that plastic is a pinch weld that sticks out like 3/4", that'll need to be cut or bent/bashed over to totally cure the rubbing....i hate rubbing tires!

I'll probably get the grinder out this week then. Heard plenty of complaints on that pinch weld.
