Flip those on while driving some deserted highway after coming up behind some unsuspecting redneck and they'll swear they're about to get re-abducted.

To get to the grease fittings on the front drive shaft you'll need a needle like this that fits on the end of your grease gun:
Lincoln Lubrication 5803 Grease Needle Nozzle
Also there should be more than just one grease fitting on the front shaft, don't quote me but I think there is 2.

This looks awesome! Just out of curiosity... I really like the yellow running lights on the 2nd gen Taco... But they took that styling off the 3rd gen. Anyone know of a mod or way to swap the strip of LED's out of the 3rd gen headlights for yellow lights...? Or would this require a bunch of soldering? I'd really like to look into this as an option. Seriously depressed Toyota got rid of that!

Did you remove the heat shield for the front shaft rear u-joint? I greased all five the other day, regular grease gun, with no issues. I did remove the heat shield though.

You can still see where they were, depending on the light angle. But I just used steam vs all the chemicals he used. Maybe i'll do a test spot to see if i can get more off. I don't even notice while driving, esp with shades on.

@RNJNKE what is the bottle opener secured with? Did you put a plate or something behind the bed wall?

    I have a few mods
it'll ride even better offroad! so you'll fuck your truck up in comfort haha

no problem, yeah AALs are nice mostly due to cost.......but they are a PITA most of the time. Gotta make sure you get good center pins as you can see from Jason's problem. Toytecs seem to be pretty good, those are the pins I got with the 3* shims. no issues there. Go for the Dakar pack and All Pro Standards

Awesome post! Thanks, this is another thing I'm looking into getting. Is there a thread available on removing that front air damn (intentional 'n') I hate the DAMN thing! Screwing my approach angles, Canadian forest service roads are frequently deactivated or they dig ditches across them for drainage and erosion prevention. Would be nice to not rip the air damn off needlessly except for intentionally ;)

Are those sill protectors an OEM accessory? I've thought about getting them but not sure if I need them... Would you recommend for functionality? Or just for looks?

    OK, so crazy story....

Yesterday afternoon i get a call from the finance man, Who tells me he needs another signature on something we missed... I say, what the hell you mean i took your truck back last night....Then he says, what do you mean you brought it back, then i tell him about the salesman calling me and changing the finance terms so i brought the truck back, then he tells me nothing ever changed so it must have been bad communication, and he wanted me to come back and get the truck at the rate and payments already agreed upon just needing one signature.....

But.... Instead i went to another Toyota lot.... explained my story and told them if they could beat the deal, id much rather NOT deal with someone who already lied to me. Ended up with the same exact truck, the XP package with same rims and running boards, Sticker price on this one was 2500 more than the one i just took back, STILL got this one for LESS than the original deal on the one i just took back, and a better finance rate then what i agreed to before they tried to raise it. With a payment about 50 bucks a month cheaper!!!! Thats a good bottle of whiskey there!!!

Only thing... They didnt have that metallic gray.... Had to go with white... But for the deal i got i was happy to sign!!

Not the best picture... Darkness came quick tonight!!

Say hello to # 3, and hopefully the last [IMG]
