Just bought a Tacoma. Truck shakes. Curious how much is normal.

If you're OEM all around, that's probably why. Start throwing on a lift, 33 inch all terrains and aftermarket wheels and get back to me ;)

o_O... you bought a 14 year old truck, not a new truck.

I am sure that you weren't charged extra for the 'fix it' part. So save that money and don't give it away to some Tacoma expert. Buy a manual, some tools, read a little, and fix it yourself. You will, however, bleed a little, but end up with tools and knowledge.

You can then chalk it up to wisdom.

Well, yeah. To each his own. Back in the olden times, the dark ages, before horses and buggies, I spent my nickels and dimes on 375 hp engines, hydromatic transmissions, and big, sticky, slicks. If I had a Tacoma back then. I too would have put on bigger tires, added more hp, etc. and would have done whatever it took to get me where I was going in a style that I liked.
