I've been dying to do this but how does plasti-dip or similar products hold up against a pressure washer in the long term? This isn't something I want to be redoing every 6 months

I found them to be one of the most affordable. They were easy to install, took about 30 minutes to do the first side and about 10 to do the second once I got the rhythm. Funny thing is i always step over or around them going in and out. but my little kids use them to get in and out. I think they will be more useful once I get her lifted.. They are sturdy though no flex (im about 190lbs) and its handy to use when cleaning the glass in the moonroof.

Nice car too! My wife and I traded her 2005 Subaru Forester and MY.......... Wait for it... (Everyone feel free to join in on the impending razzing)

2012 fiat 500 (which in my defense was purchased out of necessity for an 80km round trip commute)

Needless to say, we're both extremely happy with our 3rd gen Taco. I can't wait to start poking around on it and modifying things. I'm also in the market for 1st gen Toyota pickup.... I miss my '83 and '81. Damn rotten frames

In other news, my truck has been sitting in a snow bank while I've been snowboarding all weekend. But on Wednesday night, the wife and I went to the Toyota dealership for free food and drinks (owner orientation night) and both of us won hats. Can you tell which one is manual/automatic?

I just got my windows done and 25% up front was near dead on. Tint guys metered the back at around 30%. I ended up putting 50% on the back window for UV protection and to even it out from within the cab. Front now looks lighter than the back but that's to be expected especially with that big front window. All in all, really happy with it.

    Yes.
They're just heavy vinyl, but do their job well.
    Easier to clean too.

Anyone else been having any issues with belts? Sounds like a belt on the passenger side. I'm not happy.

I have them as well, gets a little noisey at around 110kph (i I think thats 65mph) Also found hard acceleration on cold pavement makes it step out a bit.

Hoping to test them out this weekend, happy with how they look.

Good to hear bro, cause i get them muddy often and scratches are damn near unavoidable in some of the places i enjoy going!!

Have to admit i would normally not get a white truck.... Just because i wouldnt want it to look like a work truck... But with the tires and wheels... If it still looks like a work truck id love to work there :)

Thanks man i appreciate it bud.
    Congrats bud!! Sweet looking truck!!

I was looking hard at a quicksand the first go around and the wife walked up and says, "you like this color" And i say hell yea.... She says if you get this color dont park next to my car... She drives a RED impala :confused:o_O:confused:o_O:confused:

Im not a fan of red vehicles. Its funny how much people's taste can vary. Some (crazy?) people even like to eat mayonnaise....

Wildpeaks, SR grille, LED lows and fogs, OEM roof rails.
So far I got the 265/75-16 KO2's, 15% front and 35% rear on the tint, SR grille, OE roof rack, and Sylvania Silverstar Ultras for the low beams and fogs. The only other thing I think I want to do is change my ugly ass shift knob and get rid of the huge boot that goes all the way up the shifter arm. If anybody has any suggestions, I'm open to them. I might go to an auto upholstery shop near my house and see what they can do to modify and shorten the boot, I just like to see the actual shifter arm on a manual, kind of more like an old school look.

Have you had any trouble with the spacers? Some tire places won't rotate your tires if you have spacers.

Yeah, but they use synthetic oil so you are actually due at 10,000 miles
