I have 31x10.5.15s, but a 16" wheel and tire setup for a spare. I want to get matching 15" for a spare, but was told that it might not fit in the spare location under the bed. Does anyone know if a 15" will fit? I am wondering why the spare is a 16".

    I have a 31x10.5 r15 spare. Fits fine under my 96.

Cool, thanks. I didn't want to spend money on a spare tire carrier.

I modified the brackets and put a 33" under there.

I was told that modification might be needed to clear a 33". Thanks for confirming that. I will be doing 33"s in the future, hopefully next year. What exactly did you do?

I removed the brackets and laid them on the 33 as it would be hanging, then measured out some plate iron for spacers, drilled some holes, and remounted them. Theres some pics somewhere on here of it. I think in a thread i made a while back. "OEM+" or something like that.

I put a 33" under there and just bent those brackets while still on the truck.
