Added a set of Toytec Boss 2.5's. Need to drive it a little today to let it settle out, do the final adjustment (currently a 1/2" high in front) and get it aligned tomorrow.

Nice! My dealer story ended up with unsigned paperwprk (that they didnt notice for over a month, i noticed when i got a late payment on my old truck!) Resulted in the dealer paying the first month of my truck and SETF refunding me all of the processing fees and a little extra.

    Hey guys,

So far I have added to my DCSB OR:

    sill protectors: salex organizer; oem mudflaps; husky xact contour mats; exhaust tip; cargo net; cargo divider; weathertech license plate frame;

I have on hand but not installed: vinyl tacoma letters, led light bulbs for int,

I plan to change the wheels, tires, and give it a lift, just trying to learn as much as i can first on what works best.

Love the plate. Setting up my new Tacoma more than anything to get us up in the mountains as much as time allows. Weather is breaking here, the new barrels are threaded, time to start ringing the AR500!!

Grill looks awesome. I love the hood on the sport. Wish the off- road came with it. I have about as much of a chance Finding someone swapping out a grey one as Phillies celebrating a World Series this year!!

    Missed this...

Best idea for a plate i have seen!! I wanted to go custom with my US Army plate, but i couldnt think up ANYTHING i liked that wasnt already in use. I even tried my initials and year of birth... Taken. Crazy stuff. Only 5 characters makes it tougher.

Im not a long range shooter. 100 yards is about as far as we go... our backwoods range is only 110 yards. And really we stick to 50-75 when we are playing. We like to get a few guys out and play battleship at 50-75. More fun for us when everyone at least hits paper...

This is my favorite to shoot. Just a .22. Not loud, relatively cheap to shoot, and no recoil. Wife and kids can enjoy it, and after all the mods even the kids with no experience can hit the 3" resetting targets at 50 yards most the time.

Ruger 1022 collector series, KIDD 18.5 flutted barrel threaded with break for appearance, KIDD 1.5lb trigger, KIDD charging handle, bolt buffer, extractor, firing pin.... Only thing that is still ruger is the bolt, i love the silver collector series bolt, and the receiver.

Only thing left to do is swap the optics. A nikon bdc 150 would be great on here.

How much moonshine have you drank?? Come on by one of our backwoods get togethers..... hit the jar a few times and you'll be one of them rednecks who think they were abducted :p

    j/k
    Thanks you bud!!
    Thanks man!!!
They called me several times during the day. I finally answered and let them know after they told me the finance terms changed, and after i brought their truck back, i went to their closest competitor and bought a truck 2500 more expensive, for LESS with LOWER finance rate.

He said he understands but still tried to say he could of gave me a better deal... I told him he lost his chance when they lied to me. And id appreciate it if he stopped calling my phone now.

I think after i left with their truck someone came back willing to pay more than i would, so they tried to get it back to sell to that person, once i brought it back it had over 100 miles on it because i dont live local to the lot, then they were prolly less interested in buying the vehicle at the original cost... So they tried to give it back to me... And it was too late...

Now im just talking shit here, but thats the only explanation that makes sense in my head.

Good deal!! Its always nice when things work out like this!!

As a Phillies fan, I support that comment. However, look out... we now have a top 5 rated minor league system, number one pick in the upcoming draft, number one pick in the international draft, and tons of money to spend in the free agent market in the next few seasons. I say by 2018 this is going to be a team to deal with.

Had mine 3 weeks now and after 5 days I traded my tire guy the stock tires with 300 mi on them and 200.00 for a set of Mastercraft (Cooper) ATX's 265-75-16. Also added a trifold soft Tonneau, bed mat, Weather Tech floor mats. Some more stuff to follow...

Nope. Just into the bed liner. It's sturdy and doesn't budge. I used the screws that came with the Opener, and sprayed it with some Rust-oleum Bed Liner Spray I had that I used on my Beaver Step.

Oh man... I know this is probably off topic, but in my defense "WHAT I HAVE DONE WITH MY 3RD GEN TODAY" is reminisce about how stupid our first dealership was.
Maybe you guys have some ideas on how to rub it in their face later?
So we went to a local dealer they had the exact truck we wanted with all the features we wanted. Literally wouldn't have had to add anything to it. We sat down to price our two trade-in vehicles. They came at us with insulting numbers, we countered, the manager came out with another counter, we declined and walked out. They called us 10 minutes down the road and left a voicemail so we went back in a few days later. They offered the price we wanted but we were there really late so had to go home said we would pickup where we left off in a few days on a Saturday.
We came in on the Saturday and they literally told us they made a mistake and couldn't offer us how much they already offered us and they didn't think it was a good idea to finance us for such an expensive truck even tho its cheaper monthly than paying two vehicle payments, insurance, and gas.... So we left pretty pissed...
Walked into another dealership 30 minutes away that same day, and they searched the truck we drove at the first dealership in the system so they could transfer it to their lot and start the paperwork. It wasn't coming up in the system to they called the first dealership and they lied and said they didn't have a truck like that....

So we ordered one and waiting 8 weeks for it...
But, we got $1000 more for our trade-ins and
1000 off the sticker price, free undercoating, and our salesman paid for our bed mat. Best deal I ever thought I would manage on my own

Now just need to find a way to shoot down the first dealership. I was thinking just a nasty review... But as you can see it would be VERY long

I would give you my white hood... I feel like Toyota made the hood too high and I definitely have visibility issues driving up inclines while off road. That is my only gripe with my truck... The non functional hood scoop kills visibility... Also might have something to do with the fact that I'm 5'5" tall...? Nah, Toyota screwed up

I couldn't get the off-road double Cab in a manual transmission so I had to get the sport. I lost 6" in the box (no sexual pun intended) and I didn't get the locker I wanted. I'll probably run an air locker next year when I get onboard air. My wife and I bought into replacement insurance so if anything happens to the truck and it gets written off by our insurance, then we get a brand new truck from the newest year

That was 10 miles to dinner, really babied the shit out of it to see what I could get it to. On the way home I drove it like I normally would and it dropped to around 23.

    none.... yet!
Thanks for all the led lighting talk. I got the interior kit and installed. Love the look. Here is my question..... How do you install the license plate lamps? The fixtures appear to be held in with clips. I'm afraid of breaking them if I force them too much. Anyway, thanks in advance for any info. J
