2016 white Tacoma Tailgates

I thought the same thing. He just said to get rid of them.

 

If you could figure out how to modify them to fit a 2nd gen and look clean, you could probably make a decent amount of money.

 

Currently in the works! @HAWAIICALIVEGAZ is currently modifying one he picked up from me to fit his 05!

c'mon, I know you want to help an unlucky Tacoma guy who was rear ended by a pill popper.

 

From what I understand, it won't fit... too different.... fugghettaboudit.

 

I checked into shipping it's almost $400 for 2 to the EC and I stopped by Claremont Toyota and looked at a 2016 and Gen 2 truck and talked with the service advisor and head mechanic.

His reply was a series of laughs it will take a good deal of modification to make these fit properly as it is about 3/4- 1 inch higher curved and somewhat thicker.

 

If you are willing to ship to Phx, I will buy one. I of course will pay for shipping and can comp for any inconvenience it may cause you. Please!

Just a suggestion / idea for socalktk, but if you can take the back panel off the tail gate, not sure how the gen3 tacos are...but gen2, you can remove the back panel and you can bubble wrap the inside to give it some internal strength while you bubble wrap the outside. Of course you can always build a crate.
