Other people might have different experiences doing it. But for me personally it was super nerve wracking. My drill kept wanting to walk across the fender. But obviously I finally got it and it turned out ok. I made sure and used some touch up paint in all the holes to prevent rust. Also some of the bolts on the inside of the fender where a little difficult to thread the nut on to. Otherwise it's really pretty straight forward the instructions are nicely written.

Yah I guess I should have asked a bystander in how it was because it is always fun cutting holes in your truck! I was thinking when ever I drill in thin metal the pilot bit wants to willow out the hole so I grabbed a Little piece of steel dowl and after drilling the hole I replace it with that and now it does not wollow out as fast!

Matt, is there a sealed tube inside the fender well that connects the snorkel to the air filter intake tube? I don't see one in any of the pictures.

Ya there's a rubber hose that connects to the stock tube. If you look at the first pic you can see the rubber hose peaking thru the fender slightly and it's just hose clamped on. Wish I would of taken a pic of it before it went in the fender so you could see. But I guess you'll see it when you get yours;) you will also want to silicone seal the intake tube water drain holes like I did in the pics to make it 100% water tight

Thinking about It. Waiting on the wife to say she wants the cai. Luckily she is drunk and we are bowling so it should be a easy sale

. This is for the people that want the safari snorkels with the larger intake for normal or s/c use. So please keep opinions of why one is better then the other out of this group buy.

No unfortunately there is not. But they are the cheaper snorkels out there so it should not be that hard to find
