Do they come with a black plastic plug with a "Toyota" logo on them atleast?

Nope. You can buy that cap separate from the parts department for like $10.

Good information in this thread. I get my truck on Thursday of next week and I'll have a few more things to check out it seems.

What about the rear door seals around the rear windows that some people stated were not put in correctly?

I ordered the ball and the receiver with my truck, so I will have to make sure they are there on delivery. My question is does the trailer light wiring jack come pre-wired when you order the receiver and ball...

It's to plug up the harness when you remove the tail gate.

As over60 said, Canadians come standard with
    All weather matts
    Mud flaps
Tow reciever n hitch and toyota rubber plug
Heated seats n side mirors ( not sure if thats standard for everyone)
Get them to check the tranny fluid and driveline u joint grease now otherwise they will charge you in the future.
After my dealer didnt believe me I had to do both myself and the fluid was 1 litre low and all my grease zerks were near dry, I got about 8 squeezes in each before I could hear the air and any came out

Does anyone know: I remember reading somewhere in the 3rd Gen forum something about mounting the front license plate yourself instead of having the dealership do it. Apparently, there was an issue with drilling into the front bumper. Did I imagine that or is it a concern?

Good catch! Tell them not to drill the holes! Mine already came pre-drilled, which sucks.

What's the alternative attachment. I remember seeing something, guess I will do a better search. My salesman said he would be there when the truck is delivered and he will ensure they don't attach the front license plate.

I told the salesman to attach NO dealership badges or sticker on truck
I'm ok with their licence plate frame (I can easily remove this)
I hate it when they stick crap like this on a new vehicle

I brought this thread to my dealers attention. I was quite surprised they found it worthy to inspect these details while I was there with them. Must have been a slow day. I questioned them about the receiver hitch plug/cover. I told them I could not believe they would charge for this. It is free advertising. They looked confused ,but took it off a 4 Runner and put it on my truck.

    Just ask sometimes....

I could ask for the dealer to check fluid level or u joints, etc.. but how do I know they actually do? I've been reading that some dealers don't really bother and just tells you they are "normal" without actually checking..

I was told today the check before it leaves the factory and at the port and when it arrives. But they had no issue with checking again while I watched. So ask nicely

you get the wiring and hitch as seen in the above pic. In the U.S. you just do not get the ball insert or plug. If you actually want to tow with it, you'll have to buy the items below separately.

my dealer would not order any accessories I had requested until after the truck was purchased.
I made sure I had the list ready to order when I arrived to purchase.
