Thanks! More than doubled my usable fuel with the big tank, got rid of the massive front fender and trimmed off the rear mud flap thing, relocating the plate up high. I did the seat a couple months ago and that was by far the best upgrade on the bike. It has a lower cut foam so it's better for my short legs and it's unbelievably comfortable.

it was pretty relaxing! Would recommend to friend.

In other news...20160220_184841.jpg Shenanigans begin tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll just build a flat bed. Screw putting that piece of tin back on...

I'm gonna order a can for it. Front is fine compared to that. It is just surface rust. I hit it with the wire wheel and it's nothing serious. I don't think anyway... I am do for the frame recall though... Ugh.

    Cam,

I'm sure you may already know this but here's a tip for the POR15. Poke a small hole on the side right near the top instead of taking the lid off. Pour what you need into a container and the use a sheet metal screw to seal the hole. A small rubber washer (I use a small rubber grommet) will help make an air tight seal. This way the paint in the can won't harden as it does when the lid is removed even when using plastic wrap.

Big shout out to Rob. He came by with his Milwaukee cordless impact and took him about .3 seconds to get the axle nut I've been messing with for the past 2 weeks. Got the hub off and everything else loosened up in preparation to replace the passenger side uca, lca, and spindle tomorrow. 20160220_205534.jpg

Also got the drivers coilover and lca out to swap out the cam bolts. Last time I had an alignment they said my cam bolts were seized so I figured I might as well try to fix them. Surprisingly they came right out and really weren't that bad at all.

Got moog greasable cam bolts to replace the oe ones. Oe vs moog

Waiting on my new springs and superbumps to come in from Wheelers so I can get everything buttoned back up.

Glad to see you're making progress, Seth.

The wife and I purchased a new car today to replace her aging tC. We went with a Mazda CX-5 Touring w/moonroof + Bose. We looked at every car in the segment and it was the best pick for us. The RAV4 and Forester would have worked, but neither one of us was too enthused with them for reasons neither one of us could put our fingers on. The CR-V EX was a very strong competitor, but felt too much like an appliance for us. I'm certain we would have loved it, but the Mazda was just a better driving car. It's a bit smaller inside, but it feels more like a car than a crossover. I threw it into a few corners to get a feel for it and was a bit surprised how flat it would corner.

I thought we got a fair deal (fair enough that we weren't planning on buying today) and got a great trade-in value for her tC (roughly what I felt it was worth privately).

It's going to be a few months of Ramen, but it will be well worth it.

I'm iffy about the blinking brake light. It's still on the Kat, but I think in traffic it'll just wind up blinking most of the time. I dunno. It's staying because I really don't care enough to change the harness lol. I've got more important things to do, like get a seat that doesn't hurt after 45 minutes of riding.

    deadpool was awesome!

Those Mazda's are good vehicles! My fiance drives a Nissan Rogue, similar in size to the cx5, and she loves it. Those smaller SUVs are great on both gas and versitility.

It works off a capacitor so, if you're in traffic and constantly hitting the brakes, it blinks less and less before just going solid. If you're in stop and go traffic, it'll work just like a normal brake light because the capacitor doesn't have enough time to charge.

I think the Mazda CX-5 is the same as the Ford Escape. We just bought one of those for my wife a few months ago and really like it so far. I agree, it does handle well. What engine does the Mazda have? Is it AWD?
