Something about a freshly washed BBP

 

I washed mine yesterday. Took the Jeep to work today to keep the Tacoma clean.

 

I was thinking a little yesterday about how this would look with a little custom light gray paint across the bottom and maybe a little upsweep at the back. Feathered in if that is the word or free hand sprayed, no line or even some sort of lower "wrap". Maybe not a solid area, some sort of custom design. ??

I am running 275/70/r18. Been 4wheeling with them and no rub at all with my lift. I think they are the perfect size.

The light source was just the flash on my iPhone 6s

Took a drive in the Smokie Mountains today.

 

Mine showed up sometime the last day or two, think I can pick it up on Sunday 02/21/2016. Two month wait. Gotta figure out how to shuffle vehicles now. Looks like a motorcycle ride, then load it in the truck. Hope it has tie down spots.

Just to pull the BBP thread back to page 1 for a hot second, here's a mine in all her unmolested glory.

To clean undercarriage, washed, coat of sealant, trim gel, and tires shined

 

I had issues driving off the dealer lot, felt like the emergency brake was, had a warning message on the dash. What the Heck. Looked down, the knob for engaging the 4X4 was on, so moved it after a few seconds to 2WD. Felt much better, but the message was still showing. The drivers side door was ajar slightly. End of problem. Have to learn those symbols. I noticed after I got home (out of town home), the hood latch was not greased, will have to hit that later. Looks and drives very nicely, does not have the power of a F-150 though. Guess I have to change the words under my avatar now.

I already posted in the Hood Swappin Thread, but if anyone is willing to trade hoods let me know. I have a BBP Limited and looking for a BBP with Scoop. I'll also throw in my limited grill if anyones interested. I'm in AZ, but I'll drive somewhere to swap.

 

Love my BBP sport crazy much. I must admit I like the black on the fender flares on the OR.

 

What I really want is that black front bumper piece from the OR on my Sport.

 

This is prob a long shot but i'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Anybody on here that does or have had done any vinyl graphic work done know of any brand of vinyl that has a color close to this Blazing Blue Pearl. My TRD OR will be here in a month or so and I didnt get the premium package so its gonna have the chrome rear bumper. I'd like to color match it without having to go crazy stripping and repainting a perfectly good bn bumper.

 

Love looking at pics of your truck man haha. Got a month plus til mine will be in. Mine will be a DC but you're set-up is really close to how i picture i will set mine up
