I've had good experience with Tire Kingdom, SR 60 in Brandon

 

The Pep Boys behind my house (on Florida Ave) is good, if you get David Williams to do the work for you. Wouldn't trust anyone else in there though.

 

Of all places tires plus did a great job for 60 bucks . The one on Bloomingdale ave. In Valrico . They even test drove it after

 

Last time I had the OGT in for an alignment, David ended up test driving it at least 3 times before he was satisfied with it. Gotta love that.

 

Might have to try them out its probably the closest place to me. Not much in bartow and I have a hard time going to places like that. I have a friend in Orlando that can do it but that's a 3 hour round trip.

I've been to this location several times ask for Steve ,b/s with him and maybe he'll give you a discount every time I go there the staff is good to me ,but I never got alignment there.

There needs to be a shop where you can just go in and rent a lift and tools for us people that live in apartments/townhouses. I hate not being able to put my new coils on because of nazi HOA.

 

That's why mod days usually happen at my house, no HOA. Haha

Do you know where I can take my truck for oil changes and alignment here near town and country?

Just moved to Tampa two days ago, so no clue where to go.

 

My friend is the manager at America's oil express in Brandon I know it's a little drive from T&C ,but he is a tundra guy and I have known him for about 18 years as far as basic lubes they are go to guys. I have been doing most my own oil changes ,diff. Jobs transfer case ,but I let him do my transmission that's a pain in the butt. As far as alignment I don't have one particular shop just recently used Kaufman in Brandon got 12 month warranty it's like 80 bucks. Had one alignment at tires plus truck drove straight as hell a few years ago. Never use just brakes for anything .

 

Nobody would go straight to Toyota?

 

I do my own oil and filter changes. The V6 calls for 5.5 quarts with the filter and the dealership is known to put 6 quarts in. Plus I enjoy doing my own.

 

I had good experience with Wesley Chapel Toyota when I had my free oil changes. I know @Taco No Baka went to them for something too

 

I have hoa let them send me a notice. All the work was done in the garage

 

Personally, I'd do the oil changes myself. I've found that damn near every place that does oil changes uses Penzoil, which IMHO, is the crappiest oil on the market. Just get you 6 qts of Castrol (I use Castrol Edge full synthetic), and do it in the driveway. It takes about 15 minutes and you can usually get a deal (10-15% off) on the oil and filter at one of the parts stores if you're signed up for their rewards program.

As far as WCT, I went there for help figuring out a high idle since the potential malfunctioning parts were too expensive to just start replacing until I got the right one. I'd take my truck there for stuff I didn't feel comfortable doing myself (like a timing belt, for instance). Can't say I actually trust them since they've never done any actual work on my truck, but Scooter is a good guy and he'll make sure you don't get hammered too hard on the bill. I would avoid Toyota of Tampa Bay. They'll stick it in and break it off when it's time to settle up. The only thing free they'll provide is the sandpaper condom they use while screwing you.
